Pam has been an avid animal lover her whole life. Her favorite animals are cats. Pam has had multiple cats since she moved to Indianapolis in the 70’s. Some of her favorite cats were Shadow, Sherman, Molly and Maggie. She often named her cats after characters in 17th century literature. One cat that is close to her heart is Kit. Kit is a rescue cat from Ohio. She is referred to as having 1 tooth, blind in one eye and walks crooked. Kit is currently living in Maryland, so Pam doesn’t get to see her very often. The staff at Clearvista Lake Health Campus sent the cat loving Pam to a local cat café, the Smitten Kitten, to play with adoptable cats before coming back to the campus. Upon her return, she was given a cutout pillow that has a picture of Kit on it to be able to have her favorite cat with her always.
